Chelsea Dade, founder of Communicate For Health Justice (CFHJ), has been selected as a 2025 Mary Talk speaker at William & Mary’s Women’s Weekend! Out of 129 proposals, hers was chosen as one of just 24 finalists by the Society of 1918 selection committee.

Chelsea will take the stage this September in the Glenn Close Theater to deliver her talk: "Equity Without Empire: Reimagining Leadership Beyond Colonial Norms." In just 15 minutes, she’ll explore how colonial power structures shape who gets to lead in health and healthcare—and why challenging those norms is essential for true equity.
