As we mark the 20th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina in August, we reflect on how climate disasters—both natural and manmade—continue to disproportionately impact Black communities across the U.S. This gathering is a space to connect with others, explore environmental challenges affecting our region, and identify tangible ways to protect and empower our communities.
